OpenAI's Responses request and response shapes with input as a string or as message items with input_text and input_image parts; instructions; tools and text.format (the json_schema feature); stream: true as OpenAI's typed events; max_output_tokens.
The same model values, the same headers, errors and requirements as chat completions.
store: true, previous_response_id, conversation, file and audio items, built-in tools (web search, file search, computer use) and background mode are 400 stateful_not_supported or unsupported_parameter: the gateway holds no state between requests.
