The hi command line
hi is the HIPS command line for buyers: one binary for signing in, models, batches, imports, keys and usage. It signs in as you, in the browser, by device authorization, so it never needs an API key. It is its own binary, separate from the provider app that runs on a GPU owner's machine.
Note
hi is decided and not yet published. It will be distributed through Homebrew, a shell installer and Windows packages; the install command appears here when it is.
Shell
hi loginhi login shows a code and a link, and you approve it in the Console while signed in. Every step is on Sign in with device authorization.

A management command's page waits for the platform API it calls Not decided yet; each command group gets its page once it ships.
An API key is a workspace's credential for servers and SDKs. A person's tools, hi, HIPS Code and the provider app, sign in as the person instead, and their usage is attributed to the person and the workspace chosen at approval. The Authentication reference has both.
